In 2023, Megan Gupton was appointed Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Calgary Airports. Prior to this role, Megan Gupton served as Senior Director of IT and Chief Technology Officer, where a strong emphasis was placed on technology trials, innovation initiatives, and automation. These efforts fostered deeper, more meaningful collaborations between technology teams and airport partners.

Since joining Calgary Airports in 2020, Megan Gupton has demonstrated exemplary leadership, excelling in team development, stakeholder management, strategic partnership formation, and the creation of a new IT strategy. This tenure is marked by resilience and an unwavering commitment to organizational advancement.

Before joining Calgary Airports, Megan Gupton held senior IT positions at WestJet, Air Canada, Shaw, and Enbridge. Megan Gupton holds an MBA from Athabasca University and completed the Executive Program for Women Leaders in Business at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Beyond professional achievements, Megan Gupton actively contributes to the community as a member of the YWCA Board of Directors, supporting initiatives that empower women and families to thrive in a safe and equitable environment.
